MLK Day 2024
Special thanks to everyone who came out and volunteered with us at Jennie Drake Park on Monday, the birthday of Dr. M. L. King! We had excellent weather and great participation.
Our volunteers included three (3) youth, two from North Atlanta High and one from Douglass High; and twenty-one (21) adults. Most adults were Collier Heights residents. We were delighted that Dr. Juanita Morton, president of the Collier Heights National Historic District, was with us. Also, it was great to have three parent/child pairs in the group.
Many, many thanks to all our volunteers!

Survey
The Friends of Jennie Drake Park would like your input on the ways that Jennie Drake Park can meet the needs of you and your family. Jennie Drake Park, a 2.9-acre nature preserve, is located at the corner of Waterford Rd. and Oldknow Drive in Collier Heights. The Park is intended for passive enjoyment. We are asking neighbors and visitors to share your vision by completing this survey. Our 2013 Vision plan can be seen by clicking on “Vision Plan” at the top of page.
