Saturday, June 21 – 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. – Regular Park Work Session/ Groundbreaking

Will you be able to join us for this work session? Please let us know if you will. We are expecting about 20 corporate volunteers; however, we will need help from our neighbors, also.

Tips:  Dress for outdoor work:  cover your head; cover your arms and legs; protect your feet with closed shoes.  Items to bring–if you have them:  rake, shovel, work gloves.  We will have work gloves, water and snacks.

Note:  Volunteers under the age of 18 need the permission of a parent or guardian. Please request permission forms from Pauline Drake.

Saturday, June 21 – 11:00 a.m. – across from 668 Waterford Road – Ground- breaking for the handicapped-accessible entrance where the granite benches and commemorative bricks will be installed. Join us for this brief event. The dedication will occur in the fall, after the bricks and benches are installed. Remember—there is still time for you to make a donation or order a brick.

Keep up with developments at the Jennie Drake Park!
